Hunters choose Full Metal Jacket when they need harder-hitting arrows and extra knockdown power. Pro-level archers use FMJ to deliver more penetration and shorter blood trails. Utilizing a high strength, N-Fused carbon core wrapped in a full metal jacket, the AXIS FMJ boasts more bone-crushing power for deeper penetration and more pass throughs. The Easton Dangerous Game shafts feature a guaranteed straightness of plus or minus .002 and a weight tolerance of plus or minus 2 grains. GPI = Size 300/16 | Size 250/17.7 The X-Nocks are installed and the Axis FMJ Dangerous Game uses brass HIT inserts. Fletched with Blazers.

Easton Dangerous Game 300, March 6, 2015 By Charles Putnam (Ringgold, GA)
In an attempt to Prove Dr. Ed Ashby Wrong I set out to see if indeed a 650 Grain Finished arrow was any better at taking Whitetails, Bear, etc, Versus what I had been shooting which was a 486 Grain FMJ arrow,
Building my own arrows made it easy to build a 688 Grain Finished arrow with the Easton Dangerous Game 300 Shaft which has a 16.0 GPI The difference was unbelievable The heavier arrow out penetrated the Lighter arrow by a 40% margain. Seeing is believing and I'm now a convert to the Heavier Arrow, along with the Single Bevel Broadhead. I'M currently doing a test on 4 different Broadheads that are Single Bevel RW (Right Wing). will follow up on this in a later review.
