Detailed Description

RamCat Broadhead 100 Grain

RamCat 100 Broadhead has deep lobes that create an air foil that drafts wind over the blades and disallows windplaning. Once in the animal, the lobes create a hydrofoil forcing body mass outward and thus removing friction down the arrow shaft; this results in the deepest penetration on the market. Offset and Stealth blade design.

Title: Nasty
Comments: By far the best fixed broadhead on the market. I was introduced to these by my pro shop guy and I can't thank him enough. Hardly no time getting to tune with my bow and had to quit shooting at the range due to cutting the vanes off my arrows. I have no complaints on how well they shoot now its time to see what they'll do to the whitetails.

Title: Not Sure What To Think
Comments: I switched to Ramcats for the 2014 mule deer season. Two weeks ago I shot a very large mule deer buck at 40 yards. When the arrow hit the buck I heard a loud crack. It hit him perfectly right behind the shoulder. After being hit he immediately took off and disappeared. We found the arrow right away completely covered in bright red blood. It was a perfect pass through but two of the three blades were completely broken off. We followed a good blood trail for over a mile and then it just stopped. We looked for the next 4 days, one day with a tracking dog, and never saw that beautiful buck again. I have never read a bad review on the Ramcats so I don't know what to think about my experience. Since I hit him perfectly I can only surmise that the broad head blades broke off going in and did not cut a fatal hole through the lungs. I'd like to use these heads again on my next hunt, but I am just not sure if they are sturdy enough. My first hand experience says...no.
